Do you ever feel like you don’t have enough time in the day to get everything done? Well, recent studies are showing that keeping a ‘To-do list” can help keep your brain happy and healthy. By breaking up busy days into individual tasks, your brain will have more space to complete other tasks. Studies have also shown that how many times you cross something off is better for your brain than how big a task is. For example, instead of “clean the bathroom” break it down into “clean sink”, “clean mirror”, “clean tub”, etc. and get to marking them off.
Along with adding mental clarity and space, every time you check off a task, the brain releases a bit of dopamine (feel good hormone). Moral of the story, save your brain by becoming a little more organized in your daily life. Oh, and don’t forget to add “Get the GAINZ!” to your daily list!
